Chris Brown has been hit with another lawsuit.
According to reports, a Nevada woman has filed a lawsuit against the singer, claiming that he shared a “misleading video featuring her mugshot.” She also claims that the clip led to her being harassed online and caused emotional distress.
Angela Reliford filed the lawsuit, stating that Brown reposted an edited clip with her mugshot in it with captions suggesting that she was a threat. Although the “Yo, Excuse Me Miss” singer did not make the video, the plaintiff says his choice to share with his 145 million followers made things worst.
Reliford is currently seeking damages for an undisclosed amount. Since filing the lawsuit, Reliford is no longer a fan of the singer, who she had openly admired on social media. It has also been revealed that tensions between them arose after an confrontation with one of Brown’s dancers at an afterparty in July 2024.
Angela Reliford will be representing herself in the case. Chris Brown nor his team has responded to the lawsuit.
