Chris Brown is facing more legal issues.
The singer has been hit with a $20 million lawsuit after he was accused of drugging and raping a woman while on a yacht that was docked outside of Diddy’s home in December 2020.
The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles on Jan. 27 by an unidentified woman going by Jane Doe. It claims that Brown spoke to Doe over the phone, saying that “he had heard about her music and urged her to head over to Diddy’s home on Star Island as soon as possible.”
Upon arrival, the suit states that Brown handed the woman a mixed drink in the kitchen while they were discussing her music career. Doe claims that after her second cup, she became “disoriented, physically unstable, and started to fall in and out of sleep.”
Brown is accused of blocking the woman from leaving the bedroom, undressing, and raping the young woman.
Jane Doe’s attorney stated, “[My partner] Ariel Mitchell and [I] intend to hold ALL parties accountable so that we might begin to eradicate this behavior from our society. Our client deserves justice. The same justice that all victims of sexual abuse deserve.”
A spokesperson on behalf of Chris Brown has yet to respond to the allegations and the lawsuit.
