Brazilian model, Liziane Gutierrez is breaking her silence as she prepares for the upcoming documentary “Chris Brown: A History of Violence,” which will explore the allegations against the singer.

In an instagram post, Guiteirrez posted a snippet of the documentary. In the caption, she explained that everyone has called her a liar but now the truth will be revealed. “Liar, wants fame, ridiculous” and so on, I’ve heard this for years of my life since I decided to expose what happened to me in 2016.”

She continued, “In fact, I don’t know if I’m psychologically prepared for everything that could come from my participation in this documentary, (including financially due to the agreement that I unfortunately made with the person involved here) but there was no way I could not accept it and remain silent; We are several women, do you really think we are all liars?”

“This is an investigative documentary in which I provided some evidence from the facts that happened with me back in 2016. I cant say much now but please watch it when it airs on October 27th and then we can talk more about it once it’s released.”

Guiteirrez first sued the “Yo, Excuse Me Miss” singer in 2017 after she claimed he punched her in the eye and took her phone after she tried to snap his pic during a private party in his Palms Hotel suite.

Chris Brown was never charged. The two ultimately settled the lawsuit for an amount reportedly less than the initially discussed $70,000.

According to the logline, “Chris Brown: A History of Violence” will chart “Chris Brown’s past all the way back to his troubled childhood, explores the lasting impact of the cycle of abuse, and poses the question: how does a man with such a violent public record maintain his superstar status? With expert and cultural commentary layered throughout, the documentary provides thoughtful reflections into each survivor’s experience and the psychological destruction in the aftermath of their abuse.”

Immediately following the documentary, which airs Oct. 27 on ID at 9 p.m., “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin will lead a conversation about intimate partner violence.
