Chris Rock is getting ready to put his director’s hat back on.
According to reports, he will be directing a biopic on the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with Steven Spielberg as the executive producer. The film will be based on Jonathan Eig’s biography, King: A Life.
As of now, there are no further details about the film, however, this isn’t the comedian’s first time directing. In 2003, he made his debut with the hit movie Head of State and then went on to film I Think I Love My Wife (2007), and Top Five (2014).
Aside from working on this film, Chris Rock has a current role in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie and he will appear in the biographical drama, Rustin. The film will be released in November.
