Christina Milian flooded her oldest child, Violet Madison Nash, with love for her 16th birthday.
The singer-songwriter shared a series of photos from a birthday photoshoot on Instagram last week, alongside a touching message honoring her teen.
In the post, Violet wears a floral pink gown set against a pink backdrop.
“Attention Everybody 📣🤩 Today is a BIG day. It’s @VioletMadison’s 16th birthday! And just like everyone else feels— I don’t know how time flew by so quickly? What I do know is, from the day I set eyes on her, I discovered what unconditional is.” Milian began her lengthy caption
“I suddenly overcame fears that I never thought I’d conquer- I knew I would risk anything to make sure she felt safe, I would do everything I could to make her smile, that I would show her the world and beyond,” she continued. “I saw my whole world wrapped up in this little bundle.”
In separate post, Milian shared images from another photoshoot. For this one, Violet can be seen wearing a green dress adorned with pink flowers. Mama Milian joins Violet in some photos feauturing three birthday cakes and greeting cards. “My Sweet, Sweet Baby V! Happy birthday to you! Hope you feel the love from all over! You deserve all the Cakes, Hugs and kisses,” Milian wrote.
Milian and The-Dream welcomed their first and only child together, Violet Madison Nash, on Feb. 26, 2010. She weighed 6 lbs., 10 oz. and had “a full head of hair,” PEOPLE reported at the time.
The-Dream also posted a tribute in his Instagram Stories. He shared a pink portrait of Violet from the birthday shoot followed by a message.
“Violet Madison, you have became sweeter than I can ever imagined you’d be. One of The kindest and warmest human ever. I love you and for what you mean to me and your mom and the entire universe, I’ll make sure with every piece of my soul you will always have the things you need in this life and the next. Happy Birdsy, I Love You!!!! Love, Always, your Father.”
Milian is currently married to French musician Matt Pokora. Milian and Pokora share two children sons Isaiah, 6, and Kenna, 5.
