As fans continue to pray for rapper DMX to recover following his drug overdose, Claudia Jordan has caused a bit of a problem on social media.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Twitter to send out her condolences to DMX’s family that read “Rest In Paradise DMX”. Social Media was quick to respond to her misinformed tweet. See some of the responses below.
Literally 30 minutes ago… And you tweeting misinformation and not even allowing his family to make a statement if it had been true…so disrespectful and inconsiderate… And for what? 😑😑😑 pic.twitter.com/3oOtGTAqhA

This why i don’t even bother to watch your show, if you carelessly tweeting that isn’t a glimpse into the content you bring to the table then i don’t know what is

After facing the backlash, Jordan would tweet that she is sorry with the praying hands and broken-heart emoji.

According to Page Six, she would also tweet out that she “didn’t intend on hurting anyone or doing anything wrong.” She added, “I understand how people are feeling as I am too. It’s been heavy on my mind since he fell ill. But they’re right. Not my place. I just want to pray for the whole family and all of his supporters who are in pain.”
Over the weekend the news broke about DMX suffering from a drug overdose which led him to have a heart attack. He is currently fighting for his life at a hospital in White Plains.
Please continue to pray for him, his family, and his loved ones.
