Michael Blackson has decided to give back to the children of Ghana by building his own school there for free!

The school is named “The Michael Blackson Academy” and it is located in his hometown of Agona Nsaba, it will be offering free tuition to all of the students who attend. Blackson took to his social to share the video of the ribbon-cutting event, live performances, speeches, and more.

“Today is the greatest day of my life because I’ve finally accomplished what I always wanted to do which is giving these kids a chance to be great. Greatness starts with education and foundational education shouldn’t come with financial barriers,” he wrote in a post with the video.

In another post, he wrote, “Finally, it’s all done and the kids in my village will all go to school for free. Thanks to all my fans that supported me throughout the years, every ticket you bought to my show helped a kid.”

Construction on the school began in 2020 and was officially done last December. The school is set to open before January ends. This is an amazing giveback and we applaud Michael Blackson for doing this for the children.
