“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey recently shared a surprising tale about her brief interaction with rock icon Lenny Kravitz. During a live taping of the Two Ts in a Pod podcast with hosts Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge, Bailey, 57, revealed that Kravitz, 60, never reached out to her after she gave him her number at Mick Jagger’s birthday bash last July.
Bailey recalled meeting Kravitz at the Rolling Stones frontman’s 80th birthday celebration in London, where the two were introduced. She admitted that she had been talking about Kravitz to friends for years and was excited to meet him. “I tried to play it really cool,” Bailey said, “because I’ve talked about him [for] the last five years.” However, despite the hype, she confessed, “I didn’t really feel any sparks.”

Bailey mentioned that Kravitz seemed friendly, though not particularly interested. “He was really nice. He didn’t seem overly interested or anything,” she said, admitting that perhaps the feeling wasn’t mutual. However, the meeting took an interesting turn when Kravitz asked Jagger’s fiancée, Melanie Hamrick, for Bailey’s number. “He asked Mick’s fiancée for my number,” she explained, sparking a bit of excitement, though she now laughs about what happened next.
Podcast host Mellencamp pressed, jokingly asking if Kravitz had also requested other people’s numbers that night. Bailey responded with a laugh, saying, “That I don’t know. Apparently so. He didn’t use my damn number.”
Since her split from Fox Sports correspondent Mike Hill in 2022, Bailey has been cautiously exploring new relationships. In a previous interview, she noted she had been dating someone new but was taking things slowly. “There’s someone that I really like dating a lot, but we’re taking it slow,” she shared.
While Kravitz’s lack of follow-up might have been a slight sting, Bailey is taking it in stride. With a laugh, she chalked it up as a memorable brush with a rock legend — and a humorous anecdote to add to her dating stories.
