Dame Dash officially has a new gig.

The former Roc-a-Fella Records co-founder has been named Chairman of REVOLT TV.

Dash will occupy the position for one month, Vibe reports.

Additionally, Dash will bring new content from his own platform, AmericaNu Network, to REVOLT TV. His projects include 25 episodes of his podcast, Bosses Take Losses, hosted by Dash and My Paid in Full, a new docuseries.

In the official announcement of his new role, Dash described what fans can expect from My Paid in Full on social media.

“When I made Paid in Full, my intention wasn’t to tell the story of one crew,” Dash said. “Every block had their own Paid in Full. The block I was from and my own experience is my own Paid in Full. I saw things and I know people that were actually there.

“And everyone else that lived in Harlem around that period of time has their own. I’m going to showcase everyone’s Paid and Full that I’ve seen actually live the Paid and Full life. This is My Paid and Full,” he continued.

The first installment of My Paid in Full will be a docuseries that will introduce the featured characters. Michelle Valentine will release a scripted series at a later date.

Detavio Samuels, CEO of Revolt, spoke about the new partnership with Dash.

As the CEO of a media company dedicated to Hip Hop culture and the diverse creators and consumers who drive it, it made sense to do business with Dame,” Samuels said in a statement.

After 30 years, he continues to be a driving force in hip hop and pop culture. People want to hear what he has to say no matter how they feel about it.”

For Dash, the new appointment is a much-welcomed win following years of legal battles.
