Delta Sigma Theta Names Their Class Of 2025 Honorary Members

The sorority of Delta Sigma Theta has named eight new honorary members during its 57th National Convention. 

According to reports, this is an “honor reserved for the most distinguished figures whose lives and legacies align with the Sorority’s unwavering commitment to sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action.” 

The women who were inducted into this year’s class are political strategist Donna Brazile, actresses Danielle Brooks and Queen Latifah, entrepreneurs Fawn Weaver and Janice Bryant Howard, Olympic medalists Jackie Joyner-Kersee and Swintayla “Swin” Cash, and the current CEO of SAIC, Toni Townes-Whitley. 

According to DST, these women “not only excelled in her field but has shattered ceilings and built bridges for generations to come.” Each woman has a list of accomplishments that they have established in their respective field throughout their career.
