Dennis Rodman will now be a WWE Hall of Famer.

Per ESPN sources, the five-time NBA champion is confirmed as the latest member of the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class. The news was first anounced by First announced by ESPN’s Shams Charania on Friday morning.

Rodman will join inductees Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, and Demolition (Ax & Smash) at the 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony taking place April 17 in Las Vegas as part of WrestleMania weekend.

Rodman, a former player for the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls, made his wrestling debut in 1997, per WrestlingInc. He joined the sport while on a high ride with the Bulls. Rodman’s most infamous wrestling moment happened when he skipped the NBA Finals practice to appear on WCW (World Championship Wrestling) as part of the nWo with Hulk Hogan.

The Chicago Bulls fined him $20,000 for the absence but made $250,000 from the wrestling match.

“I’ve been known Hulk Hogan for a long time,” Rodman recalled on the Got Sole podcast in 2024. “One day, he came at me, and he said, ‘Dennis, you been my tag team partner in Detroit.’ I said, ‘All right, Hulk, I can do that because I can wrestle.’ I used to do it with him back in the day. He said, ‘Dennis, what you doin’? It’s gonna be tomorrow.’ I said, ‘Tomorrow? I got a damn game, man.’ He said, ‘I don’t give a damn. I’ll send you a private plane. You just fly down for an hour. I’ll fly you right back.’

The former power forward/small forward now joins other highly-esteemed stars and non-wrestling athletes as part of the WWE Hall of Fame Celebrity Wing, including Pete Rose, William Perry, Bob Uecker, Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, and the late Ozzy Osbourne.
