Diarrha N’Diaye Named Executive Vice President Of Kim Kardashian’s Skims Beauty Brand

Diarrha N’Diaye, has been appointed Executive Vice President of Beauty and Fragrance at Kim Kardashian’s Skims Beauty, marking a major new chapter in her career.

According the Vibe, N’Diaye was the founder of her own beauty brand Ami Colé before her new role.

N’Diaye will oversee product development, innovation, and brand strategy. She will also “help to shape the beauty arm of the billion-dollar Skims empire. The brand is also expanding behond it’s core apparel offerings.

N’Diaye expressed her excitement about her new role in a statement.

“I have sat on salon floors, worked eight-hour shifts at beauty retailers, started a company. And now taking an executive seat at a beauty brand promising to bring a fresh approach to beauty,” N’Diaye told The Cut.

I have been around the block,”N’Diaye continued. “ I’m happy to bring this vault of knowledge to Kim’s beauty closet. And to work on a new wave of inclusive beauty for all. The sky really is the limit, and I want every little brown girl to know that.”

N’Diaye also said she’s “excited to bring in best-in-class formulas and a customer-first mentality to Skims Beauty.”

“I want Skims Beauty to be a place where everyone feels represented,” Kardashian said. ‘There was no better person to help us do that than Diarrha.”

N’Diaye’s appointment comes after she closed Ami Colé in September.

“I meant what I said about my love, dedication, and obsession with our beloved beauty industry. And I am proud to have lived my dream out loud, failed, and dusted myself off into an amazing new opportunity to continue to do the work,” N’Diaye said.

Co-founded by Kardashian and Jens Grede, SKIMS launched in September 2019. The brand became viral sensation, reportedly selling out its initial $2 million in products within minutes.
