Sean “Diddy” Combs and his legal team have responded vehemently to allegations brought forth in a lawsuit regarding an alleged incident in 2003, with the hip hop mogul denouncing the claims as “fictional” and challenging their constitutionality.

This lawsuit, filed by an unnamed accuser referred to as Jane Doe, alleges that Combs and former Bad Boy Records president Harve Pierre engaged in sexual misconduct, including the trafficking and gang rape of a 17-year-old girl.

In their first formal response to the lawsuit, Combs’ attorneys assert that he “never participated in, witnessed, or was or is presently aware of any misconduct, sexual or otherwise, relating to plaintiff in any circumstance whatsoever.” Led by prominent entertainment litigator Shawn Holley, the legal team not only refutes the accusations but also challenges the constitutionality of New York City’s Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law, which the plaintiff cites in the lawsuit.

Furthermore, Combs’ attorneys argue that the delay in filing the lawsuit has significantly hindered their ability to mount a proper defense. They contend that crucial evidence may have been lost or compromised over the years, impacting their ability to address essential aspects of the plaintiff’s claims. Additionally, they assert that the lawsuit was filed in bad faith, citing the alleged fictional nature of the events described and raising doubts about the authenticity of certain evidence presented by the accuser.

The lawsuit alleges that the incident occurred after Jane Doe met Pierre at a Detroit club in 2003 and subsequently flew to New York on Combs’ private jet to visit his Manhattan recording studio. According to the complaint, Doe was allegedly plied with drugs and alcohol until she was incapacitated, at which point she was purportedly gang raped by Combs, Pierre, and another unidentified individual.

While Combs has faced a series of abuse claims in recent months, he has consistently denied all allegations, asserting his intention to defend his name and seek the truth. In a statement released in December, he emphasized, “I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

In response to the arguments put forth by Combs’ legal team, Jane Doe’s lawyers have rejected them, emphasizing the seriousness of the allegations and dismissing attempts to undermine the credibility of the evidence presented. They maintain that the allegations against the defendants stand on their own merits and warrant thorough investigation and
