This is disgusting. A teacher in Arkansas has been placed on administrative leave after allegedly forcing a five-year-old student to dig in the toilet for his own feces.
According to reports, the child’s mother Ashley Murry said that she horrified after her son told her what happened to him. “It’s degrading for a child, so I don’t feel like any child should have to go through this.”
She continued, “They made him go in the toilet and get his feces and the dirty tissue out of the toilet.” Murry also stated that the teacher personally called her and didn’t have any explanation for what happened.
“She got on the phone with me, and she said she didn’t have an explanation; she just knew she wrong. But she stated to the principal that she was trying to teach how not to stop up the toilet.”
Murry’s mother so said, “You want a child to put their hand in there physically and clean out the commode. No, no, no, no, no. He’s not a janitor: he’s not a custodian, he’s not maintenance, no, not at all.”
Ashley and her mother are now calling for the teacher to be terminated. The school district officials are currently investigating the situation.
