DJ Mustard, formerly known as, Dijon Isaiah McFarlane, is expecting his second child with girlfriend Brittany Stroud.
The couple revealed the news while attending Variety’s Hitmakers award ceremony in Los Angeles on December 6, 2025.
At the event’s red carpet, Stroud could be seen smiling and holding her belly as the couple posed for the paparazzi. Later during Mustard’s acceptance speech, he gave a shoutout to his first lady.
He said, “First I want to give honor to God [and] my whole team, my girl Britney. These guys, man, for making my beats sound way better than they came out from my computer. So, um, Variety, thank you guys as well. I didn’t write nothing either because I knew it was three of us and I ain’t had that much time to talk and I don’t want to cry. So, thank y’all. And, uh, thank y’all out there as well.”
Mustard is a part of the musical hive mind behind Kendrick Lamar’s 9x Grammy nominated album, GNX. Mustard, alongside fellow producers Sounwave and Jack Antonoff were collectively honored at the ceremony.
Lamar and Mustard took over the Super Bowl last February.
Mustard has five children in total. He shares three children with his ex-wife Chanel Thierry.
Per AllHipHop, Mustard and Chanel Thierry started dating in 2010. They became engaged in 2018, married in 2020, and welcomed three children. However, Mustard shocked many when he filed for divorce in 2022, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
