Doja Cat is allegedly a victim of abuse according to her mother.
The singer’s mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, filed legal documents in court to gain a temporary restraining order against her son/ Doja’s brother, Raman Dalithando Dlamini, after he was accused of physically and verbally abusing the singer. The documents claim that Dlamini knocked Doja’s teeth out, as well as, giving her multiple cuts and bruises and destroying her property.
Sawyer’s documents also revealed that her son left the “Paint the Town Red,” singer feeling traumatized and unsafe. The judge has granted their mother a court-ordered protection from Dlamini and is currently waiting on a hearing date to get a permanent restraining order, however, Doja Cat did not receive the same protection. She has to file for her own order of protection against her brother.
This isn’t the first time that Deborah Sawyer has received a restraining order against her son, she’s had one in the past but it has since expired.
Doja Cat has yet to respond to these claims.
