Donald Trump finally and concedes and speaks out on the riots that took place yesterday at the nation’s Capitol.
In a recent video message, Donald Trump gives a speech where he condemned the rioters and the violence that took place at the Capitol building. He called for everyone to be calm and cool. “We have just been through an intense election and emotions are high, but now tempers must be cooled and calm restored.”
That message was followed by him conceding to President-elect Joe Biden. “A new administration will be inaugurated on Jan 20. My focus now turns to ensure a smooth orderly and seamless transition of power. This moment calls for healing and reconciliation.”
This is the first time Trump acknowledges his electoral defeat. Watch the entire message below.
