Hip-Hop/Rap artists are becoming more than just rappers nowadays.  The Hip-Hop moguls featured on the Forbes Richest Rappers list all have one thing in common; they didn’t stick to one hustle.

Ranked no. 1 on the Forbes list, Jay-Z ($1 billion) has set the blueprint (no pun intended), for young entrepreneurs everywhere. Investing in real estate, paintings, and company ownership like Uber and Cognac. Hov embraced the title of being a business, man and not a businessman.

At no. 2 we have Dr. Dre ($800 million), the founder of Beats by Dre. After selling Beats to Apple in a $3 billion deal, Beats by Dre has earned Dr. Dre over half his bank account at $500 million.

Sean Combs ($740 million) at No. 3 has always been known as the ultimate hustler. The Harlem native’s main moneymaker is Ciroc. Diddy is on track to become hip-hops second billionaire.

Kanye West ($240 million) makes the list at No. 4, despite having to climb out of his $53 million debt. He has made most of his money in the clothing industry. Being signed to Adidas, Yeezy has become a top brand in street wear.

Drake ($150 million) has become the youngest millionaire on the list! Thanks to his Virginia Black Whiskey, real estate investments, and being a top music artist in the world, selling out all tour dates, his bank account has doubled in the past year!
