Billy Dee Williams recently made an interesting revelation about his sexuality.

The 82-year-old has been known for his sex appeal in the 70s especially in the iconic film Lady Sings the Blues. During an interview with Esquire, he reveals that he identifies as sexually fluid.

“I never tried to be anything except myself,” Williams said. “I think of myself as a relatively colorful character who doesn’t take himself or herself too seriously. I say ‘himself’ and ‘herself,’ because I also see myself as feminine as well as masculine. I’m a very soft person. I’m not afraid to show that side of myself.”

Williams reprised his iconic role in the upcoming installment of the space fantasy series, “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” which is slated to hit theaters on Dec. 20.

In the interview, he also states how Donald Glover actor who plays a young Calrissian in last year’s “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” described the character as pansexual. Pansexuality is defined as an attraction to people that is not limited by particular gender identity or sexual orientation.

Glover says:

“I feel like if you’re in space it’s kind of like, the door is open! It’s like, no, only guys or girls. No, it’s anything. This thing is literally a blob. Are you a man or a woman? Like, who cares? Have a good time out here.”

Williams was pleased to hear Glover’s remarks.
