Kanye West is determined to be the next president of the United States. Following Joe Biden’s announcement that Sen. Kamala Harris is his pick for Vice President in the 2020 election, many took to Twitter to express how they feel.
This is history in the making because this makes Harris the first black woman and Asian American woman to be selected for the vice-presidential nomination. West took to Twitter to congratulate Harris on her nomination, but also had a message. He wrote:
I know my mom and Kamala Harris would have been friends … congratulations on being the democratic Vice President nominee all love and respect from the future president It’s an honor to run against you”
West announced that he was running for president of the United States on July 4.
“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision, and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020Vision
As of currently, West is trying to get on the ballot for Virginia and Minnesota.
