Ashanti is putting a certain music producer on blast after he gave her an ultimatum when it came to her music.
During a recent interview, the singer revealed that the producer, who she kept anonymous, wanted to take a shower with her. “One producer, like, we did two records together, he was like, ‘Okay I’m not gonna charge you, you’re my homie. And then when it came time to put it on the album he was like, ‘Well, let’s take a shower together.’”
She went to say, “And I thought he was joking! And then he’s like, ‘Nah I’m dead serious. You know, let’s go out and let’s take a shower together and I’ll give you the records. If not I need 40 racks per record.’”
Upon finding out that this producer was serious, the grammy-award-winning singer had to make sure that she was well protected and that the situation was handled properly.
It was recently reported that Irv Gotti aired out Ashanti’s alleged dirty laundry by saying that the two of them had a romantic relationship and that he was in love with her. However, Ashanti stated that Gotti’s claims were not true.
