Well Deserved!!
Music duo Salt-N-Pepa will be honored at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Sandra Denton (Pepa) and Cheryl James (Salt) came together in 1985 giving us nothing but unforgettable hits! DJ Spinderella was once the DJ, but later revealed she was terminated from the group.
The duo won a Grammy Award back in 1995 for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for their single None of Your Business which means Salt-N-Pepa is no stranger to the Grammys. According to the Grammys’ website, this award was given to:
“performers who, during their lifetimes, have made creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to the field of recording.”
