Shelly-Ann Fraser- Pryce Named The Fastest Female Alive

Congratulations Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce! 

The Olympic track star has been named the fastest female sprinter alive after clocking in at 10.63 during a track meet in Kingston, Jamaica. 

According to reports, Fraser-Pryce ran the 100-meter dash shutting down the recent record at 10.70 that she once shared with Elaine Thompson-Herah. In 2016, Herah won the gold meter in the 100m at the Olympics. 

The Jamaican track star’s time is the fourth-fastest time to be recorded. Florence ‘Flo-Jo’ Joyner- Griffith had the other three fastest times, clocking in at 10.49, 10.61, and 10.62 in 1988.
