Sheryl Lee Ralph Stuns Crowd With Acceptance Speech After Winning First Emmy

Sheryl Lee Ralph won her first Emmy award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Abbott Elementary. 

Met with much applause and cheers, Ralph accepted her award by singing a song first,

and then she went on to give a touching speech about dreams still coming true. “Anyone who has ever, ever had a dream and thought your dream…couldn’t come true. I am here to tell you that this is what believing looks like,” the actress said.
