So SAD: New Orleans Hard Rock Cafe Collapses, One Dead, Many Injured

This is a sad story.

Reported on multiple news sources, a portion of the Hard Rock Cafe in New Orleans collapsed.

The incident happened Saturday (Oct. 12) morning at around 9 am on the corner of Canal and North Rampart street. The building had been under construction for several months.

It’s unclear what made the building fall. The structure was considered “unstable.” Fire officials say it’s possible the rest of the building can collapse and it remains unstable.

Daily Mail reports 18 people were taken to the hospital, one died, and three people are missing. Witnesses say they say workers hanging on cranes and had to use ladders to get down.
