Erykah Badu has been named as the headliner for the 15-anniversary of the Summer Spirit Festival.
The festival will take place on August 7th in Columbia, Maryland and she will be joined by Anthony Hamilton, Marsha Ambrosius, J. Brown, Method Man & Redman, and the D.C.-based go-band Junkyard Band.
The announcement about Badu’s performance was made on Instagram with the caption that read:
“Save the date, free your mind, and find your way. Our 15th anniversary Summer Spirit get down featuring our Queen.”
Erykah Badu has recently faced some backlash for the last festival that she headlined over her set being cut short because of time constraints.
Tickets for this festival are set to go on sale on Friday, April 8th, at 10 am on Ticketmaster.
