Actress Eva LaRue will be joining the cast of “General Hospital.”
LaRue is set to appear on the daytime soap opera for the first time in 30 years since her run in another ABC soap “All My Children.” She will play the role of Natalia Rogers-Ramirez, a mother who has yet to find out that her daughter is dating another woman.
“She is really struggling with her daughter’s sexuality, but also, I think what she’s struggling with is that she really thought it was just the two of them against the world and that she knew everything about her daughter,” LaRue said. “And I think she’s very shocked to find she’s kept this huge secret from her, and that she’s the last to know.”
The actress stepped away from the camera for a while to raise her own daughter, who is now in college. LaRue has starred in other TV shows and movies such as CSI: Miami, RoboCop 3, Lakeview Terrace, Criminal Minds, George Lopez, and more.
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC at 3 pm est.
