Grammy-award winning singer Fantasia is making a splash into the fashion space.
On Friday (July 7) Fantasia announced to her fans that she is releasing a new swimwear line in honor of her grandmother.
“Do you remember when swimwear was sexy, yet classy?” She added, “I want to bring that vibe back with an exclusive Nightgowns,swimwear and Beautiful Candle launch coming soon @addiesplacellc! In Honor of my Grandmother 💜 Coming Soon!!!”
In the post, Fantasia models an off-white one-piece bathing suit with a matching headwrap. The one-piece features a large accent shoulder piece and a spaghetti strap.
Fantasia also took time to share her gratitude for her success so far. “I’m sitting back admiring the fact I have true Independence in having my own label, running several successful companies, watching my artists and team flourish in their gifts, bouncing back from people writing me off and over looking me, rising from the bottom and healthier than I’ve ever been, my career is catapulting, I have 4 beautiful children, 2 grandkids and happily married to a king.”
Tabitha Brown, Taraji P. Henson, and Da Brat appeared in the comments under the post. They commended Barrino-Taylor and showed their support toward the singer’s life and career journey. “Your glow-up is so inspiring!!!” Henson wrote.
