Fat Joe Says He Lost $10 Million Over Sex Trafficking Claims

Fat Joe reveals that he lost millions of dollars because his former hypeman, Terrance Dixon’s sex trafficking lawsuit

The rapper went on to file an amended complaint against Dixon and his lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, in his own lawsuit. Reports state that the “Lean Back” rapper’s lawsuit accuses the two men of “fabricating claims, including sex trafficking and statutory rape.” He claims it all a part of an extortion attempt.

Joe went on to say that the fallout has cost him over $10 million and said that a lot endorsement deals, appearances, and sponsorships fell through. He said that a major TV network canceled a $30,000 appearance deal and that his podcast, which he co-hosts with fellow rapper Jadakiss, lost a few sponsors taking out more than 30% percent of the show’s ad revenue. 

He added that negotiations with national retailers for his brand, Rewind It, were also cut short, which included at $7 million deal. Fat Joe says the two filed the lawsuit with the hopes of reaching a multimillion-dollar settlement. 

The lawsuit also calls out Blackburn for his history of “unethical tactics, including a recent arrest after allegedly hitting a process server with his car.” Fat Joe is seeking $15 million in damages.
