The funeral arrangements for Shock G have been released.
The late rapper’s family released that he will be laid to rest in Tampa, Florida. According to his obituary, the services will be held on Saturday, May 1st at the Allen Temple A.M.E Church.
Atron Gregory, Shock G’s manager, also revealed that the hip-hop group Digital Underground will be at the service, including DJ Fuze and Money B. A representative from the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation will also be in attendance.
Shock G. passed away on Thursday, April 22nd, at age 57. No details about the rapper’s death have been released, however, it was reported that G was last seen the day before he died by the manager of the hotel he was staying at.
As reported by Pop Culture, TMZ stated that the manager grew worried about the rapper once he failed to show up for his check-out time. The manager would go to his room and found him unresponsive. EMS was called where they declared him dead at the scene.
