Over the weekend, Black Music Honors held a very special tribute for the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.
It was the 3rd annual show, hosted by Rickey Smiley and LeToya Luckett at Nashville’s Tennessee Performing Arts Center which took place the night of Franklin’s passing.
During the ceremony, Angela Winbush, Paris Bennett and Syleena Johnson performed Franklin’s 1967 hit “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” and they sounded amazing; in comparison to Madonna’s “so called” tribute during the 2018 MTV VMAs earlier this week.
