Flavor Flav has been able to cross off many feats throughout his career. His most recent accomplishment, however, does not have anything to do with his rap skills. The former Public Enemy member sang the national anthem at the Atlanta Hawks vs. Milwaukee Bucks game.

He delivered a very unique rendition of the Star Spangled Banner while rocking his signature look. Flavor Flav sported a No. 59 jersey, which is an ode to his birth year. He also wore his signature clock pendant necklace, sideways hat and glasses. The performance even boasted some vibrato on the “home of the brave” lines from Flav.

While social media may have had mixed reviews of the performance, Flav said that he enjoyed himself.

“The anthem was a long time bucket list item… that was fun,” he said in a post-performance tweet.

“‘I can’t live my life worried about what people might say about me. I won’t let that stop me from trying new things and doing things I wanna do. Some people might not like that. But a sure failure is if you stop trying.’I can’t live my life worried about what people might say about me. I won’t let that stop me from trying new things and doing things I wanna do. Some people might not like that. But a sure failure is if you stop trying.”

As for the Milwaukee Bucks, they unfortunately lost to the Atlanta Hawks 110-127.
