Recently, Forbes released their annual Richest Athletes List for 2019 without the familiar face, Floyd Mayweather. From being ranked number 1 in the 2018, to not being listed at all has many questioning Floyd’s pockets.
The list features the top 3 slots filled by footballers Lionel Messi ($127 million), Cristiano Ronaldo ($109 million), and Neymar ($105 million). It feels strange not seeing Floyd especially because in 2018 he earned more than double the amount of Messi ($111 million) at $285 million due to the Conor McGregor fight.
Floyd has a history of not being shy when money is concerned, flaunting jewelry, money, property, and luxurious vacations. For him to not make the Forbes List, his total earnings should have dropped $260 million! More than likely, Floyd has been snubbed. Considering he has been retired from boxing since 2017, we doubt the “Money Team” is lacking in wealth, perhaps in yearly earnings.
