Foxy Brown is being sought out to be a key witness in the Tupac Shakur murder trial against Keefe D.

According to reports, prosecutors want the rapper to be a witness and believe that she can provide evidence about the night that Shakur was gunned down in Las Vegas. Duane “Keefe D” Davis was arrested and charged with the murder of Shakur back in October.

Although he was not a new suspect, the LAPD knew of his involvement in the 1996 shooting, and reportedly confessed in 2009 while being interviewed by the police. Now, Keefe D is claiming that there is no proof that he was in Las Vegas on the night of September 7, 1996. Clark County District Attorney’s office says that they have a list of witnesses that can tell a different story.

They said that Foxy allegedly saw the suspect and interacted with him before Tupac’s shooting later that night.  In his book, Keefe D wrote, “As I walked up to the driver’s side window, I noticed that the rapper, Foxy Brown, was in the car with (Eric Von) Zip. So he instructed her to step out of the car and motioned for me to jump in.”

He continued, “Zip had a hidden compartment that he opened up, reached in, and pulled a black.40 Glock out. He turned to me and said, ‘It’s time to get the money.’” Keefe added, “Zip handed me the 17-shot pistol, which I promptly put down the back waist of my pants. I hopped out of the car, held the door open for Foxy Brown to get back in, closed the door, and they pulled off.”

Keefe D’s trial murder trial has been pushed by until November 4th.
