Frank James ,The Accused NYC Subway Shooter, Indicted On Federal Charges

Frank James has officially been indicted by a federal grand jury on May 6th for the subway shooting that took place in April. 

According to reports, he was charged with one count of a terrorist attack and other violence on a mass transit system and one count of discharging a firearm during a violent crime. If convicted, the 62-year-old can face a maximum life sentence in prison for each count.

We reported that on April 12th, James has set off two smoke bombs while wearing a gas mask as the train was moving with passengers on it. When the train pulled into the station, he then pulled out a gun and fired 33 times shooting ten people. 

He then fled wearing an MTA worker’s vest which began a city-wide manhunt. Frank James was caught the following day in the East Village. The motive of the attack is still unknown, however, there are videos of James on YouTube going on bigoted rants about people from different cultural backgrounds. The suspect also criticized Mayor Eric Adams for his lack of focus on the mental health care within the city. 

James is currently waiting for his arraignment. No date has been set yet.
