Gary Owen is a new father again.

The comedian recently revealed that he welcomed a set of 9-month-old twins and said that his older children, with his ex-wife Kenya Duke, don’t have a relationship with the twins. While on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast, Club Shay Shay, Owen spoke about becoming a father again.

“Didn’t think I wanted to be a father again…not having a relationship with my [other] kids…you know….I hate that thing of like ‘Imma do it right this time’ cause…I don’t think I did it wrong the first time,” he said.

Owen continued, “I was very conscious of how I spoke to them, how we disciplined them…that I never put them down. All the sports and stuff they played, I was the fun dad…I wouldn’t say I did it wrong but it’s two fold…I think not having a relationship with my kids…it sucks too cause my kids, they don’t know them. They don’t have no relationship with them.”

The comedian has been vocal about his relationship with his children that he shares with Duke, and said that since their divorce in 2021, their children have not spoken to him. Kenya Duke has also accused Owen of “financially deserted her and her kids the minute they separated.” However, Owen has accused his ex-wife of manipulating their kids and having them cut him out of their lives.

Gary Owen has moved on and is currently engaged to Bri Johnson. What are your thoughts on this?
