George Foreman is claiming that he is being extorted by two women who are accusing him of sexual abuse.
The boxing legend stated that the women are trying to get millions of dollars out of him and a close source to Foreman says that the two women are expected to file a lawsuit in Los Angeles sometime this week.
This lawsuit will say that the former heavyweight champion had sexually abused them in the 1970s. According to reports, they are both seeking $12.5 million each.
Foreman addressed these allegations in a statement. “Over the past six months, two women have been trying to extort millions of dollars each from me and my family.”
He continued, “They are falsely claiming that I sexually abused them over 45 years ago in the 1970s. I adamantly and categorically deny these allegations. The pride I take in my reputation means as much to me as my sports accomplishments, and I will not be intimidated by baseless threats and lies.“
Foreman concluded, “I am, and always will be, guided by my faith and trust in God. I will work with my lawyers to fully and truthfully expose my accusers’ scheme and defend myself in court. I don’t pick fights, but I don’t run away from them either.”
In recent years, George Foreman is best known for his “George Foreman Grill” and his net worth is reportedly worth $300 Million.
