A judge in Baltimore has recalled an arrest warrant issued for boxing champion Gervonta Davis, easing immediate legal pressure on the undefeated fighter.
Court records show the warrant was withdrawn after Davis’ legal team addressed concerns tied to a previous court matter. The decision means Davis will not face arrest under that order.
Davis, 31-0 with 29 knockouts, has been one of boxing’s biggest attractions in recent years. The Baltimore native has headlined major pay-per-view events and drawn sellout crowds across the country.
Officials confirmed the warrant stemmed from an alleged probation violation related to a prior case. Details of the violation were not immediately released.
A representative for Davis declined to comment in detail but said the boxer is focused on his career. “Gervonta is committed to complying with all court requirements,” the representative said. “He respects the legal process and will continue to address any outstanding matters appropriately.”
