The talented, goddess of soul, Gladys Knight will be performing at Super Bowl LIII. She will be singing the National Anthem at the biggest night in football, announced NFL.
Knight said in a statement, “I am proud to use my voice to unite and represent our country in my hometown of Atlanta. The NFL recently announced their new social justice platform Inspire Change, and I am honored to be a part of its inaugural year.”
The singer is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and will be returning home for this performance. It was previously announced that, Maroon 5, Travis Scott, and Big Boi will perform for the Halftime Show.
The 2019 Super Bowl goes down on February 3rd at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
