This is good news for Flavor Flav.
It has been announced that the charges against the Public Enemy rapper have officially been dropped. In a statement, Flav’s attorney said that his client, “grateful to bring an amicable close to the matter and appreciate everyone’s support as he continues his one-year journey of sobriety.”
Flavor Flav whose real name is William Jonathan Drayton Jr. had pleaded no contest to a nonviolent misdemeanor coercion charge, paid $640 in fines, and admitted to taking a cellphone, according to his defense attorney and a court official.
On October 4th, Flav was arrested in his home in Henderson and was released from jail the next day on a $3,000 bond.
