Hulk Hogan’s cause of death has been revealed.
According to reports, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer died of a heart attack. Documents also revealed that Hogan had a history of atrial fibrillation, also known as AFib, a condition that makes the heart have an irregular and often rapid heart rate.
We reported that Hogan passed away on July 24 at 71 after reportedly feeling “weak” and “embarrassed.” The former wrestler also had a history of leukemia, CLL, a type of cancer. Shortly after his death, his managers released a statement mourning him.
“We are heartbroken,” the statement read. “He was such a great human being and friend.” Hogan’s death came as a shock to many, especially to his former manager, fellow WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart, who gave an update on Hogan just days before. “Hulk is going great, doing phenomenal,” Hart wrote on his X account. “Last night at karaoke with Nick was absolutely fantastic, baby!!!”
WWE also posted a tribute to the late wrestler who played a pivotal role in catapulting the business to what it is today.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones during this time.
