R.Kelly’s YouTube channels have officially been removed.
After the disgraced singer’s verdict came back guilty in his federal racketeering and sex trafficking trial, Google terminated all of the pages that have his videos and songs on them.
If viewers attempt to go on RKellyTV or RKellyVevo they will be met with this message, “This account has been terminated for a violation of YouTube’s Terms of Service.”
The pages have been removed due to the “creator is participating in abuse or violence, demonstrating cruelty, or participating in fraudulent/deceptive behavior leading to real-world harm.”
In a statement released by YouTube’s head of legal Nicole Alston said, “Egregious actions committed by R.Kelly warrant penalties beyond standard enforcement measures due to a potential to cause widespread harm.”
However, not all of the singer’s videos are not completely off of YouTube. Kelly’s unofficial Trapped In The Closet short films are available for purchase on YouTube.
