Ja Rule Has Eyes Set On Nike Golf Deal After Company Ends Tiger Woods Partnership

Ja Rule has heard the news of the Tiger Woods x Nike partnerhsip ending and he now is staking his claim.

In a new tweet, the rapper shared videos of himself golfing and sending a message to the company. 

“Hey Nike if y’all looking for your new golf sponsorship look no further… Exit Tiger Woods Enter Tiger Hood…,” he wrote.

Back in 2023, Rule shared his love for the sport with Golf Channel.

“During the pandemic, man, I think a lot of people picked up the game,” he began to explain. “I had played before then but never really seriously, but after the pandemic I really, really got into golf — really caught the bug. And I’m here man, I love playing golf. This is my office for at least 4-5 hours of the day, whenever I can get out on it.”

The news of the split between the two parties came only hours before the rapper threw his hat in the ring. On Monday, Woods adn Nike officially announced the end of the 27 year, $500 million partnership.

“Over 27 years ago, I was fortunate enough to start a partnership with one of the most iconic brands in the world,” Woods wrote in a statement posted to Twitter. “The days since have been filled with so many amazing moments and memories.”

“People will ask if there is another chapter. Yes, there will certainly be another chapter,” he concluded.
