Ms.Jacky Oh’s cause of death has still not been shared with the public, leaving many to draw their own conclusions.
Dr. Zachary Okhah, the surgeon who performed a mommy makeover prior to Jacky Oh’s death issued a statement to clear his name. The statement comes after many alluded that Jacky Oh’s death could be related to surgical complications.
“Yes, my name has been in the tabloid media and understandably sensationalized given the circumstances,” Okhah started his video response. “I want to clarify certain facts that have not been reported and are public knowledge. Please understand that due to patient privacy laws, and out of respect for all my patients, there will never be mention of specifics, now or in the future, of any of my cases.”
While Dr. Zach did not offer his condolences to DC Young Fly or the Smith family, he assured viewers that his “reputation is exemplary.” He added, “every procedure is always performed to the highest medical standard and our safety protocols are diligently observed by my entire team.”
The Brown University alumnus informed viewers of Florida’s strict regarding malpractice and shared that he remains “in good standing with the Florida Department of Health.”
He then released a written statement to further emphasize his commitment to high quality medical care.
“To all my past, current and prospective patients, PH-1 Miami remains devoted to the highest quality medical care,” Okhah wrote in a statement on Instagram following the 33-year-old’s passing. “All aesthetic procedures are performed in a hygienically safe environment to universally recognized medical standards.”
Dr.Okhah has since disabled the comments feature from his page.
Ms. Jacky Oh! was laid to rest by her family on June 10 and is survived by D.C Young Fly & their three young children.
