Jamie Foxx‘s recovering appears to be smooth sailing.

On Sunday (July 9), Jamie Foxx was seen out on a boat ride on the Chicago River. Per the video, obtained by TMZ, the 55-year-old was seen cruising on a boat, smiling and waving at fans. The news comes almost two months after his daughter, Corinne Foxx, shared that the comedian was out of the hospital and recuperating.

On that same day, the Ray actor tweeted that he was out “celebrating summer” with his whiskey brand, Brown Sugar Bourbon.

Foxx had been reportedly recovering at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab rehabilitation facility in Chicago that specializes in treatment for stroke, spinal injuries, and traumatic brain injury.

Corinne Foxx shared an update back in May that her father’s health was improving. “My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating,” the 29-year-old wrote in a May 12 Instagram Story post. “In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”

The “Blame It” singer also co-stars in the upcoming Netflix mystery They Cloned Tyrone, alongside John Boyega and Teyonah Parris. In April, the actors shared with ET Canada, that the Oscar-winning actor was doing ‘good.’

“Yeah. He’s all good. He’s all good. So we’re just going to wait for him to reappear when he wants to. You know, privacy and all,” Boyega answered.

“Giving people space to heal how they need to do,” Parris added.

The video clip appears to have helped alleviate worry for this beloved fans.
