On Saturday night, Janet Jackson was finally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Jackson, who has spent most of her life in the spotlight, was honored at the ceremony which took place in Brooklyn.
During the ceremony, Jackson gave a moving speech that focused on her career. She thanked producers and songwriters, James “Jimmy Jam” and Terry Lewis for being an influence and helping her shape her career. Before ending her speech, Jackson shared a special message with the Rock Hall executives which was,“Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, please, 2020: induct more women.”
