As to be expected, our girl Janet Jackson will receive an award at the 2018 Black Girls Rock award show, set to air on BET September 9th.
We recently seen Ms Jackson take over the Harlem Week festival in New York, where she promoted her new single ‘Made for Now’. Now we get to see her being honored, where Missy Elliot will host the award show.
Black Girls Rock honors and celebrates extraordinary Black women, accomplishing phenomenal things.
Janet Jackson will receive the ‘RockStar’ award. She took to instagram to thank Black Girls Rock.
A rock star she is, congratulations Ms Jackson. Well deserved.
