Jason Derulo has spoken up to talk about the sexual harassment allegations against him.

On Thursday, the Watcha Say singer was hit with a sexual harassment lawsuit from an aspiring artist. In the filing, Emaza Gibson says that Derulo ended their work relationship after she denied his sexual advances. In an Instagram video, he shared his thoughts on the allegations.

“I wouldn’t normally comment, but these claims are completely false and hurtful,” Derulo began the video. “I stand against all forms of harassment and I remain supportive of anybody following their dreams. I’ve always strived to live my life in a positively impactful way, and that’s why I sit here before you deeply offended by these defamatory claims.”

In the caption of the post, he shared a transcript of his statement.

As well as the sexual harassment claims, Gibson accuses Derulo of a  breach of contract, illegal retaliatory termination and more, accusing the singer-songwriter of “maliciously” promising her success, then denying the opportunity.
