Jay-Z and Moncler Collab For A Winter Collection Of Apparel And Accessories

Jay-Z is returning to fashion as a designer for Moncler Genius.

In partnership with Roc Nation, Jay-Z has collaborated with Moncler for a new line of winter outerwear.

The  Moncler x Roc Nation winter capsule collection includes a variety puffers, drop-shoulder tees and sweatshirts, croc-printed bombers and fuzzy bucket hats. The collection seamlessly blends the comfort of Hov’s NYC streetwear with the Italian brand’s signature style.

This is the second collaboration between the brands, Moncler and Jay-Z. Nearly a year ago, Jay-Z, producer Mike Dean, and the rest of the Roc Nation team helped Moncler create an audio/visual project called “The Art of All” during the Italian brand’s immersive experience at London Fashion Week. Guests were encouraged to use their voice and become the creator of the project. This piece turned attention away from the rapper and rather to humanity and creativity, while championing the notion that genius is everywhere. The message is conveyed through the narration of a film manifesto with music from The Book of Clarence, produced by Jay-Z, and narrated by Saint Jhn.

Moncler’s official account on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared a video amid the collection’s release on Wednesday (January 24). The ad featured includes the narration of rapper and singer SAINt JHN. His narration appears to capture the journey of climbing mountains, overcoming challenges, and finding one’s voice.

The video ends with a reminder that “genius is everywhere.”

For the capsule collection, the idea was to create an assortment of modular elements that could be mixed and matched together, per the official press release.  “The Moncler x Roc Nation collection designed by JAY-Z, is conceived as a set of modular elements – like record samples that build to a cohesive track – individual pieces that layer and resonate in harmony.”
