Jeannie Mai has revealed news about her divorce from Jeezy. In a new interview, she says that she learned about his divorce filing while the rest of us did.
“Even though this year, I met the most broken version of me. I also met the strongest version of me,” Mai said while appearing on the Jennifer Hudson Show.
“It was kind of hard, so yeah, it’s what I’m dealing with day by day, you know?” she continued. “I think I’m doing better now.”
She then explained that she found out about Jeezy’s divorce filing “at the same as the rest of the world.”
“When I found out … that my marriage was ending in divorce, I was gutted,” Mai explained.
“So today, it’s about picking up the pieces. It’s about discovering me and being a mom to the best blessing in my life, my little girl,” Mai stated, referencing the daughter she shared with Jeezy, Monaco.
Mai’s appearance on the show comes after allegations that Jeezy was unfaithful to her during their marriage. Because of this, she is seeking enforcement of the terms of the prenuptial agreement she entered with him in 2021.
A rep for Jeezy denied her accusations, “Any claim of infidelity on Mr. Jenkins behalf are 100% false and he has no further statements at this time.”
